Technical assistance to improve national training systems
SkYE will support targeted capacity-building and technical inputs to strengthen the national institutions and processes required to manage, certify and quality assure the delivery of skills training. This should support a better functioning skills and training system and promote greater sustainability.
SkYE partnered with the Lincoln College, UK, to deliver “Mitigating the effects of COVID-19 on Technical Education” virtually to institutions that are preparing to resume training post lock-down. The impact on assessments, certification, teaching and learning, among other critical areas, were deliberated.
